Depression
Distress, Concerns, Issues

There are more medical diagnoses of mental health than bones in the human body. Yet what you are experiencing may not even have a name, let alone be on a list somewhere. 

 

What you are experiencing is unique to you. There is no manual to describe or define you. Some common experiences of life can become overwhelming and cause distress, concerns, issues and can be labelled.

 

Many are common and  temporary.  

 

When they become part of daily life, affect how we live our lives, impact on others. Chats with mates and colleagues make no or little difference.

 

Time to seek professional support.
 

Relationships
Describing Terms

Some people can describe how they are with words such as:

  • Depression, low mood sadness, melancholy, withdrawn, lost

  • Anxiety, nervousness, phobia, scared, shy, fright

  • Trauma, shock, damage, self-harm , suicide, hate, worthless

  • Addicted, ADHD, neuro-divergent, obsessive

Medical Diagnostic Terms

Could include: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Phobias, Personality Disorder, OCD, Schizophrenia,

Couples Therapy
Who do I work with?

Adults:  those persons over the age of 18 years old

 

Children and Young People: those persons aged under 18 years old. 

 

Couples: Adults who are experiencing relational or relationship issues or concerns.


Sessions provide an opportunity to talk in private and confidentially about stuff. Time to think. A chance to explore through the use of creative and metaphor permits exploration an understanding that doe snot always has words.

The time and space to be reflective and reflexive on work, selves and contexts.
